The Adventure Begins

At fours years of age, I freaked out my parents by waking them in the middle of the night to ask, “Can we talk about infinity?” I alarmed the neighbors by announcing their unknown pregnancies- and once that the father was not my neighbor’s husband! I stopped giving messages to people from those who had passed on when I saw fear and anger in their eyes instead of the happiness I thought it would bring them. I soon learned that keeping my awareness to myself might ensure I actually made it to adulthood! I was aware at a very young age that, though I was in a child’s body, I had lived many lifetimes before. Like many of you, I’ve always had extra sensitive abilities and trying to understand them eventually led me to pursue a path committed to seeking  knowledge about my spiritual gifts.

I’ve survived Catholic school, drugs, sex, rock and roll, hitchhiking cross-country, anti-war demonstrations, college, a couple cults, heartbreak, betrayal, psychic experiments, being an ordained minister, therapy, UFO research, horse ownership, travel to many countries, and a career in radio and television. Each experience taught me what I needed to not only survive, but thrive.

Miraculously, I emerged from a dark and stormy childhood without winding up in a rehab clinic. Though I admit, in my frenzy to escape pain and experience the world, I tried everything! Seeking insight into what the heck was going on in my life, I read any book I could get my hands on and put myself through college taking any class that interested me (must be why it took so long). Upon graduating, I realized traditional learning wasn’t enough. I yearned for deeper answers and dove into the world of spiritual teachings, practices and wisdom traditions.  Ultimately, I discovered the great secret; surprise…your answers are within you, not without.

On a quest for truth I left the Midwest to embark on a spiritual quest to travel the country on my intuition. Not that I really knew what that meant at the time. Everything I owned was stuffed into my Orange VW Bug After waving goodbye to everyone, I was off!

I stumbled into some amazing adventures along the way. I learned to talk (and listen) to plants from an herbalist in Oregon. A Native American man from the Black Hills of South Dakota taught me to make fire in the rain and read the past in the smoke. I accidentally ran into and had my journey blessed by the Dalai Lama in Colorado (I had no idea who he was at the time, but he seemed nice). Eventually I landed in Northern California.

Enthusiastic for more knowledge, I discovered an organization offering spiritual training for sensitive, psychic people. Studying there for many years, I eventually became a branch director and teacher. As paths will do, at some point mine diverged from theirs and it was time to move on. This led me to open my own spiritual training center in 1991.

Called to explore the great mysteries of the world, I traveled to many countries, and chanced upon spiritual adventures in each. I flew with the condor’s spirit in Machu Picchu, stood in the middle of inexplicable crop circles in England, received miraculous psychic surgery in the Philippines, picked chamomile in an ancient healing center in Greece, shared prayer with the whirling dervishes in Turkey, got dizzy in the vortexes of Sedona, meditated in the Great Pyramid of Giza, and gazed into the center of an ancient crystal skull.

For 36 years, I’ve given thousands of spiritual readings, healings and classes using knowledge I’ve gained to help others go within and grow by using their own souls ability. There are no limits to what you can discover when you choose to explore the mystery and wonder of the spiritual realm. I’ve never stopped learning and believe we’re all teachers to each other, no matter the role we play. I continue to be devoted to seeking truth (even when it’s painful to face) and sharing with others all I’ve learned on my personal spiritual journey. With open eyes and heart, I await the next adventure.
